Leasing a Phone Word
Leasing a Phone Word from Excel Phone Words is easy!
We have two leasing options, being Exclusive Use or Shared Use.
Exclusive Use gives you Australia wide coverage for your Phone Word. No other company can use the same Phone Word.
Shared Use means that you have exclusive use of your Phone Word in a specified geographical region (Eg/ State of Victoria). This is particularly useful to companies who get their business from a limited geographical area.
Not all Phone Words are offered on a Shared Use Basis. Excel Phone Words will choose the telecommunications provider on all shared use Phone Words.
Once you have leased a Phone Word from Excel Phone Words, you will be given "First right of refusal" thus ensuring that you get to keep the Phone Word as long as you want it.
The minimum lease period is 24 months and discounts are available to clients who agree to take out leases ranging from 5 to 20 years.
Monthly line rental and call costs for the inbound service for your Phone Word are additional to the monthly lease payments from Excel Phone Words.
Connecting your Phone Word
After successfully choosing and leasing your Phone Word, the next step is to choose the telecommunications provider. You can either choose to use your existing provider or we can source one for you at a competitive rate.
Excel Phone Words can also assist you in setting up more complex services for your inbound number. This might include call barring, time based routing, origin based routing and interactive voice response (IVR).
Call Barring
This is barring calls from certain states. It is useful to customers who get all their business from a limited geographical area.
Time Based Routing
Time based routing is where you may want calls to go elsewhere after hours, weekend and public holidays.
Origin Based Routing
This is where you may have multiple branches/offices and would like calls to be routed to the closest office/branch depending on the origin of the call.
Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
IVR is a call prompt service where callers press the corresponding keys to make their selection. This is useful for companies who have many departments and are looking for time efficiencies and increased productivity from their staff on core business activities.
